Stepping Stones: For Children Aged 2.0 years to 2.11 Years
The Stepping Stones classroom at Ridgewood Montessori School offers young children a unique year of self-development in a tender atmosphere of special understanding, respect and support.
Students are given opportunities to work in the development of language skills, art, music, sensorial and practical life. Practical life activities are simple and can be accomplished by each child. Movement plays a very big part of our Stepping Stones class.
They have access to a variety of large muscle activities that offer them opportunities to jump, climb, balance, crawl or skip. Our primary goal in this program is to foster a sense of independence, a joy in exploration and a love of learning through a variety of Montessori materials. Call us
